The new FG Falcon vehicle package was the highlight of the Melbourne Motor Show earlier this month, and it’s not hard to see why – with its all-new exterior and interior architectures and designs.
The new Falcon has been designed to provide improved ingress and egress with larger door openings and wider door opening angles, a roomier vehicle interior, enhanced vision for the driver and improved safety and structural performance.
Ford Australia President Bill Osborne said, “The all-new FG Falcon range represents another step forward for automotive vehicle design in Australia”.
There are now three families of vehicles in the FG Falcon sedan range, the Falcon XT, the G series, and the XR.

“For the first time in Falcon's history, the new model will come to market with three distinct faces on the vehicle, offering both private and fleet customers, and both sports and luxury customers, a new Falcon to suit their lifestyle,” said Osborne.
Following shortly after the release of the sedan range, will be the all new FG Falcon Ute, available in either Cab Chassis or Styleside Box bodystyles with a choice of engines and transmissions.
Each model in the new Falcon Ute range represents a unique mix of workhorse and recreational elements, which ensures the job gets done during the workday week, as well as on weekends when its time to getaway.
