A
word from the
Dealer Principal

Hello and welcome to our June E-News and a special welcome to our new subscribers.
We now go out to over 4,000 people a month and we’d like to thank you for your positive feedback. I also want to give a special welcome to our new subscribers.
No doubt you have all seen the all new FG Falcon out on the road – I’m sure you’ll agree it’s very impressive.
We are all very excited that the Hyundai i30 was one of only two vehicles under $30,000 to receive ANCAPs five star safety rating, announced early in May. We profile this vehicle for you in this issue.
The automotive industry remains very strong and was up slightly on May 2007 and currently is up 4% on the same time last year.
The South Australian market in particular has been very strong, up over 8% and only second in Australia.
Economic conditions and strong employment is underpinning an excellent retail environment despite the recent rise in fuel costs, which is really minimal in terms of the cost of ownership.
Enjoy our e-news. Happy and safe motoring.

Andrew
Brown,
Dealer Principal.

HOW’S THIS FOR ECONOMY FROM A SIX CYLINDER FG!! |
|
One of the first people to buy and take delivery of a brand new FG was Toby Cookes.
Toby purchased an FG G6E and he recently returned from a trip to NSW where he travelled over 5,000km in the new model.
When we asked his opinion of the car he said:
‘It’s the best car I’ve ever owned. On the way home I was returning fuel figures of a mere 7.4L/100kms!’
Thanks for the feedback Toby – on those numbers, that’s equal to many four-cylinder vehicles. |

Hyundai’s i30 has just been awarded a five star ANCAP safety rating, the highest ranking possible, and the first for Hyundai.
After already earning the 2007 CarsGuide Car of the Year and Green Car of the Year awards, the accolades just keep rolling in for the i30, most recently Ecocar’s Best Small Car of 2008.
Hyundai Australia worked tirelessly to ensure the i30 was of the highest possible safety after investigations revealed that only minor non-structural changes were necessary to improve on the European NCAP ranking of four stars for the i30.
By improving the padded material beneath the steering column and increasing thickness, potential knee injury has been greatly reduced, making the i30 one of the safest vehicles in Australia.
Teamed with Hyundai’s Protectz Pack, the i30 SR, SLX and SX are fitted with ESP Stability Control and side curtain airbags, with the base SR and SLX achieving a very credible four star rating.
For more information on the i30, contact us, or visit the dealership today. |
