ISSUE 25 - OCTOBER 2008

A word from the
Dealer Principal

Hello and welcome to our October E-News and a special welcome to our new subscribers.

We are now going out to over 5,000 satisfied and delighted customers, of which I trust you are one of them.

Having just returned from annual leave where I visited India it was a huge reminder of how lucky we are in this great country of ours.

Despite being bombarded daily with bad news on finance markets, we are in fact very well off.

Fortunate enough in fact, that the SA vehicle market remains very strong; it’s up 7% year on year for both September and Sept. YTD with business sales up over 15%.

Enjoy our issue and happy and safe motoring.

A WONDERFUL SURPRISE

Kelvin with our leading Salesperson Amber Chisholm

Every new car delivery is special to us here at Adrian Brien however this particular one was not only special for us but also for Denise Hards. Kelvin Hards bought this Fiesta as a surprise for his wife’s 50th birthday. We dressed it with a bow and balloons and snuck it into the garage at home without Denise even knowing.

Denise was not only thrilled with her new Fiesta but was also pretty chuffed with her husband as well.

Kelvin has set a pretty high standard for us blokes to match!

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

The average Australian watches three hours, thirteen minutes of TV every day! That’s twenty-two and a half hours per week. That is 1170 hours in a year! That equates to 29.25 of the average forty-hour work-weeks every year!

What could your do with an extra 1170 hours in the next year?

What could you learn?

Who could you become?

What difference could you make?

NEW 2009 FIESTA

The 2008 Sydney Motor show acted as the runway for the pint-sized and perfect all-new Ford Fiesta which was unveiled prior to going on sale across Australia early in 2009

Three models are available in the new range: the entry level CL, the mid-range LX and the range-topping Zetec which are available with three or five doors except the LX which comes as a five door only.

Ford’s Kinetic design previously seen in the likes of the Mondeo will make up the new Fiesta’s DNA and the car will be available with a 1.6Litre engine with five-speed manual transmission or a 1.4Litre engine and a four-speed automatic.

Fuel consumption is a low 6.1L/100km on the manual transmission, 1.6Litre engine combination while the automatic, 1.4Litre consumes just 6.9L/100km.

All models are fitted with ABS, EBD and dual front airbags as standard while the Zetec benefits from a knee airbag which is a new feature on the market.

An optional $1000 safety pack for the CL and LX grades comprises front-seat side-impact airbags, driver’s knee airbag, stability control and traction control and Emergency Brake Assist.

The CL journey’s on 15-inch steel wheels while the LX graduates up to 15-inch alloys and the Zetec bumps upto 16-inch alloys.

The new Fiesta body kit boasts unique bumpers, grill and large rear spoiler and the three-door Zetec also features sports rocker panel mouldings.

Voice control, Bluetooth® connectivity, cruise control, leather-bound steering wheel and a 3.5mm audio jack feature as standard in the LX and Zetec models while an MP3 compatible audio system with USB connection boosts the Zetec.

A full range of colours is on offer including the stunning Viola and the sophisticated Ocean.
