A word from the
Dealer Principal

As I write we have had another blast of winter with some more welcome rains. Many of our rural customers are telling us they are shaping up for a really good year which is fantastic for them and the state.

Combine this with the upturn in the states’ mining and construction industry and South Australia is well placed going forward economically.

This month we continue our sustainable living tips and have taken it further with the stocking and launch of our Eco Shop – located in our parts department. Drop in some time for a look.

We trust you enjoy this month’s issue.

Happy and safe motoring.

Dealer Principal

SUSTAINABLE LIVING TIPS

It’s easy to do your bit for the world by living a more sustainable life. Take some inspiration from our sustainable living tips to begin making changes.

Get Fully Wound Up – forget buying endless supplies of batteries – buy a wind up torch and/or wind up radio and you will never need to clog up our environment with useless dead batteries again. You can find these in our ‘Eco Shop’.
Learn to Cook – you can be sure how much salt and which additives you’re eating when you have a home cooked meal, and you will save a lot on fuel by not having meals home-delivered, and not driving the car to restaurants. And you’ll save money!
Join Forces – find other neighbours or locals who are keen on sustainable living and see how you can join forces to cut costs (eg buying items in bulk) or by swapping accidental gluts of produce (eg from bumper crops on fruit trees)
Be Rainforest Aware – look for logos such as Rainforest Alliance logo on products including tea and coffee.

TEN YEARS OF SERVICE

New Car Sales Manager Craig Sachse has just completed ten years employment at Adrian Brien and joins a growing list of long-serving members of staff, a feat we’re extremely proud of.

Craig started his career in the auto industry as a fresh-faced school leaver at just 16 when he went straight into car sales. Since then he has earned an excellent reputation at Adrian Brien with our customers and staff alike.

As is typical of excellent sales staff, it’s the people that make the job worthwhile for Craig.

‘Interaction with the customers and the people I work with are a very important part of my life. I’ve been lucky to have worked with some very interesting and talented people in my job’ he said.

He has a wife and two children to keep him busy when he’s not working, however Craig does find the time to work on his project, the restoration of a red 1966 Mustang. After seven months of TLC from Craig, the Mustang is now almost roadworthy, so you may see him out in the streets of Adelaide very soon!

You can also find Craig and his family at their private getaway in Blanche Town, although he does have aspirations to one day forgo his holiday home for a trip to Paris and enjoy the epitome of French culture.

When a customer comes in to Adrian Brien, it’s up to Craig to find out what it is they’re looking for in a car.

‘I try to find out exactly what their needs and wants are and what they would use their car for. Plus I consider what their finance options are and advise them on what Adrian Brien can offer them’ said Craig.

Next time you’re in the dealership, be sure to look out for Craig and when you’re out in the city, keep an eye out for his Mustang!

The story doesn’t end there though: The HEMI® V8 engine is also available and offers an impressive 250kW with incredible fuel economy meaning you get the best of both worlds.
