FORD COMMEMORATES
50 YEARS OF FALCON

Ford Australia is set to release a range of truly exciting anniversary models to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic Ford Falcon.

The Falcon is the longest running vehicle name in Australian motoring history, and June 28th will mark a half a century since the first XK Falcon rolled off Ford Australia’s Broadmeadows production line to become the legend it is today.

Production of the special 50th anniversary models will also commence in June, in a fitting tribute to the birth of the Falcon. Each model will feature unique exterior design elements, exclusive interior finishes and additional standard equipment.

The Falcon’s long and distinguished heritage is unmatched by any other car in the history of Australian motoring, with 50 years of continuity in any industry a remarkable achievement, it’s especially rare in a dynamic field like the car industry.

The Falcon 50th anniversary range will include G Series and XR models, with six individual variants across both sedan and Ute body styles: G6E, G6E Turbo, XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR6 Ute and XR6 Ute Turbo.

The 50th Anniversary sedan models will feature unique ‘Dark Stealth’ colour accents on the upper and lower grilles, fog lamp bezels and rear bumper insert and the exterior will shine with the XR50 badging and body stripes.

Other highlights will include the VXR 50th Anniversary partial leather seat trim, sports leather steering wheel, 18-inch XR alloy wheels with the detail accent treatment and Interior Command Centre (ICC) instrument panel with dual zone climate control.

Look out for the preview of these limited edition 50th Anniversary models in our showroom.

INTRODUCING DAVE HARMAN

Our Dealership Account Dave Harman has a strong team of eight working with him, crunching numbers and keeping our accounts is excellent order here at Adrian Brien.

Dave has been with us for the last five and half years, starting out as a trainee accountant before moving up to an assistant accountant and now heads the department.

Unlike other accounting roles, Dave thinks working in the automotive industry is much more interesting:

‘The sheer variety of people I meet and the sales people I work with are what makes my job so great; I’m pretty sure if I worked in another accounting firm I wouldn’t meet such interesting people’ he said.

When Dave isn’t juggling figures at work he leads a pretty active lifestyle with fishing, golf, and basketball taking up his time along with working on his backyard, taking his dog out and studying Spanish.

He’s a huge music fan whose tastes vary from hip hop to big band swing, and he’s currently listening to Sydney based hip hop band Horror Show.

Dave also has plans to take himself off to Japan for a holiday and head across to New Zealand for the ski season.
