HYUNDAI i30 LEADING THE PACK
Fuel economy has become a major issue in recent years, with the rising price of fuel and the increase of awareness surrounding our impact on the environment. It’s good news then the new Hyundai i30 is leading the way, delivering more green friendly performance than hybrid vehicles like the Toyota Prius.

The i30 took to the track in the Panasonic World Challenge’s “Greenfleet Technology Class” held recently. The event sees teams set off from Darwin to tackle the long road to Adelaide.

Team i30 lead the way amongst a host of other challengers including Audi, Peugeot and a BioBike. The i30 CRDi’s incredible figures of only 3.2 litres of fuel per 100kmh meant that it emitted just 97g of C02 per kilometre of the 3,600 kilometer event.

So if you’re looking for a way to beat the pinch at the petrol pump and lessen your impact on the planet, the i30 already leads the pack! So it's not surprising as the level of enquiry is high and sales are booming. See our customer profile below who recently purchased 3 i30 CRDi's

The Panasonic World Challenge is an annual event featuring a wide range of energy efficient vehicles from around the globe. For more information on the event visit the official website here.
Late breaking news!
i30 has just been named carsGuide Car of the Year. Look for our feature article next month.
