CAR CLEANING TIP!

Wash your car regularly.

It might sound obvious, but washing your car regularly is the key to keeping your vehicle in optimum condition. You want to keep your paint-job looking as best as you can, not only for the sake of driving a nice looking car, but it also helps when it comes to resale.

What you do with your car will dictate how often you will need to wash your car, and how thorough you will need to be. Consider whether you have it parked in a garage all day, or you park under a tree full of birds.

It’s generally best to give your car a wash once a month at the very least.

A car’s paint is important not only to make your car more attractive and personalised, but to protect the body of the vehicle from corrosion.

Most people don’t realise that it’s the little things that can cause big problems like corrosion to their car. Bird droppings and squished bugs, for example, can damage the paint and leave permanent marks.

When washing your car, keep water restrictions in mind and do the right thing. In fact, if you can it is a good idea to head down to your local DIY car wash as all water is recycled, and everything you need is there for you.

Just a basic scrub and rinse is all you need to do, and every now and then you should give your car a blast with a high pressure hose in all those hard to reach places underneath, where dirt and sand can accumulate.

HYUNDAI i30 DOMINATES MARCH

The Hyundai i30 range was the top-selling car in its segment for the first time in March.

An impressive 3,678 units were sold, with the multi award-winning i30 taking up a 16.4% segment share.

Just when we thought the Hyundai i30 couldn’t get any better, along comes the new i30cw wagon. The i30 cw wagon takes it to a whole new level, offering up extra space and versatility plus a stylish, contemporary look.

The March sales results are a testament to the quality, performance and flair of the Hyundai i30.

HYUNDAI’S FLUIDIC SCULPTURE CONTINUES TO EVOLVE

Hyundai’s all-new concept car has been revealed to the world at this year’s Salon International de L’Automobile, which was held in Geneva in March.

The concept car, named i-flow, breaks new ground in the appearance stakes for the mid-size sector. Styled at Hyundai’s European design headquarters in Germany, the i-flow has an arresting look that will definitely turn heads.

The name itself points to the sleek, smooth styling of the vehicle, with an outstandingly aerodynamic body-shape.

Several new technologies from chemical company BASF have been integrated in the i–flow, such as solar cells and modern lightweight materials. These technologies assist in reducing the vehicle’s weight and enhancing energy efficiency.

The i-flow will share the spotlight with the recently released compact SUV, the ix35.
